Job Summary
Coinford Groundworks & Concrete Frame Specialists
Coinford is looking for an experienced 10T Operator to join a finishing works gang on major groundworks projects. This is a long-term opportunity for operators who take pride in precision finishing and high-quality machine care.
Key Responsibilities 10T OperatorOperate a 10T Excavator safely and efficiently on site
Support finishing works gangs with external works including:
Drainage and service trenches
Foundations
Road formation
Type 1 topsoil and final grading
Work confidently with trench boxes manhole boxes and drag boxes
Read and follow drawings levels and setting-out information
Work safely around live services following service-avoidance procedures
Carry out daily pre-start checks inspections and basic machine maintenance
Maintain high standards of machine care greasing and cleaning
Collaborate with engineers foremen and gang members to meet programme deadlines
CPCS / NPORS 360 Excavator (10T with Lifting Ops)
5 years experience in groundworks or civil engineering
Experience in external works and finishing
GPS / machine control (Trimble Leica or similar) advantageous
Additional tickets: Dumper Roller Telehandler
SSSTS or willingness to work towards
Reliable punctual and safety-conscious
Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
Works well within a gang and with site teams
Right to work in the UK
