What youll be responsible for:
The selected candidate for the Financial Analyst role will drive financial planning analysis and strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will translate financial data into actionable business insights and support leadership in resource allocation and growth initiatives. You will:
- Lead financial planning and analysis including budgeting forecasting variance analysis and performance tracking
- Build financial models that support strategic initiatives investment decisions and scenario planning
- Analyse business performance metrics and surface insights that drive operational and strategic decisions
- Partner with business leaders across functions to understand drivers of financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations that communicate financial results trends and recommendations
- Support strategic projectsM&A analysis pricing strategy market sizing or business case development
- Design and refine financial processes reporting frameworks and dashboards that improve visibility and efficiency
Youll be a strong match if you have:
- 1-3 years in consulting (MBB Big 4 or boutique firms) with exposure to financial analysis business case development or valuation work
- Strong financial modelling skills (i.e. you build sophisticated models in Excel and can stress-test assumptions and scenarios)
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes including budgeting forecasting variance analysis and performance reporting
- The ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
- Analytical rigour combined with business judgement (i.e. you know when precision matters and when directional insight is sufficient)
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools (ERP systems BI platforms SQL or Python is a plus)
