Job Summary
Position: Registered Nurse MNA
Department: PACU
Location: BMC South Surgery Center- North Easton
Schedule: Variable days Variable hours
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an RN at the BMC South Surgery Center you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver nursing care in the Department including assessing diagnosing planning intervening evaluating and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members patients and their families
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
- Update and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Nursing Diploma ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN Massachusetts license & BLS ACLS and TCAR/TNCC certification required. PALS preferred.
- Experience: Requires 1-2 years previous PACU RN experience or 1-2 years previous critical care unit RN Experience
Compensation Range:
$38.10- $77.63This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
