We are currently seeking a full-timeAmerican Sign Language Staff Interpreterto join our Florida Team. This position will be based on-site at a facility providing video remote services

The American Sign Language Staff Interpreter is responsible for conducting psychological and medical interpretation to staff and patients across the state to include individual therapy group therapy and a variety of psychological and medical assessment appointments. The Sign Language Interpreter translates questions requests and/or statements clearly and accurately attending to and conveying tone intention nuance etc. assesses patients and monitors them to ensure they understand information being conveyed assists the company with written and oral communication as needed submits translations to appropriate management for review as needed and relay pertinent cultural issues and considerations to professionals.

Qualifications

ASL certification is required
Bilingual preferred
Requires both onsite and remote work
Ability to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance required

Available Shift: 8AM-4:30PM; Monday-Friday
