We are currently seeking a full-timeCertified Medical Assistant to join our team atJohnson State Prison locatedin Wrightsville GA.
Position details:
- Full-time Day shift 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM Weekends possible
Rate:
- $17 - $22.00 an hour

Qualifications
The CertifiedMedical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs implementing orders for diagnostic lab test and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs maintaining and cleaning medical equipment and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs as assigned.
- Current GeorgiaMedical Assistant license/certification
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience preferred not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
