Contract length: DIRECT PLACEMENT
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 72 biweekly (one day off each pay period)
Shift Requirements: Working hours are flexible but around 7:30a-4p. Hybrid (one day on site every two weeks) Days between Monday - Friday no weekends or holidays
Weekend: None
Holidays: None
Certification: Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) require. Graduate of an approved Cancer Registry Training Program required.
Required Education: Associates degree in Human Resources or related field.
Equipment: Emplify by Bellin IT team will want the worker to provide their own equipment. They would then get them setup to remote in.
Minimum Experience Required: Previous experience in a cancer registry role is preferred. EPIC Experience Abstracting experience confident working independently
Preferred: CRStar experience (not required)

Essential Job Duties:
- Maintains all aspects of the registry in accordance with the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer requirements for an approved program
- Codes cancer cases using approved coding nomenclatures
- Interacts and communicates with other departments and staff within the organization as well as other health care providers and facilities outside our system
- Uses Registry software and other supporting software modules to perform registry routine
- Provides age-appropriate care/service as applicable to role
- Assures reliable predictable outcomes and no needless waits*
- Uses Information Systems to their full capability
- Duties as defined by specific department (if applicable)
- Attends regularly-scheduled and assigned shifts
