Distribution Center - General Manager

About the Role:

Auto-Wares is seeking a hands-on results-driven Distribution Center General Manager to lead operations people and performance at one of our high-volume distribution centers. This leader ensures exceptional service to our customers operational excellence and a culture that reflects our purpose vision and values.

What Youll Do:
Lead Daily Operations

Oversee all warehouse functions: receiving put-away picking shipping returns dock pickup/express and route support.
Ensure orders ship accurately and on time through effective planning and resource allocation.
Drive productivity inventory accuracy and continuous improvement using data metrics.

Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team

Recruit hire train and coach team members and leaders.
Build bench strength and ensure consistent execution of standard work.
Conduct performance reviews and create development plans.

Own Safety Compliance & Facility Standards

Enforce operational safety and personnel policies.
Maintain a clean safe secure facility and review security plans annually.
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations.

Manage Financial & Business Performance

Develop and manage the DC budget with the VP of Distribution.
Review financial and operational metrics; take corrective action when needed.
Recommend facility improvements equipment and resource needs.

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

Ensure timely accurate order fulfillment and route performance.
Resolve customer issues quickly and drive root-cause solutions.
Maintain strong communication with Warehouse Managers Shift Managers and Distribution leadership

Qualifications

Leadership experience in distribution logistics or warehouse operations.
Strong people leadership coaching and team-building skills.
Ability to manage budgets KPIs and operational performance.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
