Description

The University of Lynchburg a private regional university located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia is seeking a temporary non-exempt Dining Services Team Member to join our Dining Services team.

Job Type: Temporary Non-Exempt

Work Remotely: No

Schedule: Based off events (Subject to change)

Job Purpose: Provides Scheduled or as needed assistance in food production and/or service areas for dining operations.

Specific Job Duties:

Ensures highest levels of sanitation in food preparation serving standards and serving

area to exceed expectations of the Virginia Health Department.

Provides coverage or assistance as needed in Dining Services to include but not limited to: pantry beverage menu production service dish room pot wash and catering.
Performs any other related duties as may be required.

Physical Demands: Lifting 25 lbs Prolong Standing

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Either previous experience in a service position in a fine dining commercial or noncommercial restaurant operation is desired.
