Job Summary

Job Title: Production Helper III - US

Location: Farmingdale NY 11735

Shift Timings: Shift Hours:8:30am - 4:30am

Note: Interviews Required. Must Be Fully Cleared To Start.

Summary of Job:

Issue raw materials in a timely fashion to designated work stations. Move work-in-process to designated areas. Segregate printed materials from other waste and dispose of them.

Must-have/Required skills:

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid forklift operator license.
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules procedures and work instructions.
Must pass color vision test.
Ability to maintain good attendance.
Willingness to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice-to-have Skills:

Experience working in production warehouse or material handling environments.
Experience with banding stretch wrapping and staging materials for shipment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Stage trays cages pallets cartons dollies skids cut material folded material and waste containers as required.
Manage chipboard on and off of dollies and skids.
Empty waste containers in each process area.
Separate and properly discard corrugated printed material and miscellaneous garbage.
Perform banding stretch wrapping etc. of materials for shipment.
Deliver shipments to various departments.
Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the job position and department.
Follow established policies work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines.
Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
Follow instructions accurately.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Actively participate in safety-related processes.
Promptly report incidents near misses or safety concerns to supervisors or through designated reporting systems.
Support incident investigations by providing accurate information and cooperating with follow-up actions to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
