Job Summary
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcareservicesto the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician at Maryland Correctional Institution-Hagerstown (MCI-H) in Hagerstown Maryland.
This position is Monday - Friday Day Shift Starting Range $285K
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations provides treatment for emergent urgent and routine medical issues provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
BC/BE in Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine required
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
