Job Summary

Job Title: Primary Care Physician

Shift Schedule:

Standard 8-hour shifts
Long shifts (11.5 hours) also required
Includes 1.5 weekend shifts and 3.5 long shifts per month

How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: Full-time schedule with rotating long shifts and weekend coverage

License: Any valid U.S. State Medical License

Certifications:

BLS (Required)
ACLS and PALS (Preferred can be obtained post-hire)

Experience Needed: Open to new graduates (prior primary care experience preferred)

Special Skills Needed:

Comfortable seeing patients of all ages including pediatrics
Ability to provide culturally competent care to a Native American population
Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills

Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 8 weeks

Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
Conduct 30-minute follow-up visits and 1-hour new patient visits
Manage a patient load of 12 16 patients per day during regular shifts and up to 20 patients during longer shifts
Deliver quality patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment
Work primarily at Santa Fe IHC with occasional rotation to nearby clinics within a 30-minute radius
No OB responsibilities

Misc:

Compensation: $300000/year ($150/hr) W2 or $180/hr 1099
4 weeks PTO 11 federal holidays (31 total paid days off)
$3000 annual CME allowance
Support for obtaining additional certifications (ACLS/PALS) after hire
