Today we serve over 4000 children and teens annually through prevention treatment and outreach programs.

Position Overview: Expressive Arts Specialist

As an Expressive Arts Specialist youll be part of our Prevention Team delivering services that are:

Client Family and Community centered
Collaborative
Professional and compassionate

In this role you will be providing expressive arts services to youth and families in the community and in an outpatient setting. The Expressive Arts Specialist will develop implement and coordinate a prevention oriented expressive arts program that includes a variety of opportunities for youth and families to explore in the realm of visual arts drama arts movement music language arts etc.

Please note that this is a part time position Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm with flexibility.

Qualifications

Relevant Bachelors degree in an expressive arts medium or a social work/like degree with expressive arts credentials/training
Previous expressive arts experience involving visual art movement music sound drama crafts drawing painting sculpture and mixed media
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Required Special Qualifications

Must possess a valid Driver License and meet the driving requirement of the Agency
