Job Summary

Description

Residential Behavior Interventionists work 12-hour shifts and availability during nights and weekends is required. A $2.50 per hour shift differential is offered for overnight shifts.

Our Behavior Support Team is in search of a dynamic candidates who can provide support to individuals with emotional and behavioral challenges both within the community and at our 24/7 staffed residential homes.

We are seeking individuals who embody the following qualities:

A positive demeanor and a strong supportive presence.
A willingness to engage individuals through therapeutic interventions.
The capability to create and maintain a highly structured consistent and therapeutic environment.

We are looking for candidates who have prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities intellectual disabilities and/or mental health conditions. However those with a background in supporting individuals experiencing significant behavioral changes in residential and community settings or more structured therapeutic environments are strongly preferred. Weekend availability is required and candidates must possess a valid drivers license and dependable transportation.

Hiring rate is based on experience education and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
