Job Summary
Looking for assistance for an adult male diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Proficiency in de-escalation redirection and understanding dysregulation as a form of communication is crucial. Dependability is essential due to ritualistic tendencies. The support is needed on weekdays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm with pick up and drop off in Fairfield to be taken into account. Staff members have access to Agency facilities and training will be provided.
We are looking for someone with experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum with limited verbal communication. Comfort with displays of aggressions and patience to tolerate discomfort while establishing rapport and developing a schedule. Must have a High School Diploma be 18 years of age have reliable transportation and clear background screenings.
Hiring rate is based on experience education and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
