Driving Growth at the Intersection of Science Data and Innovation

Rancho BioSciences is seeking a Scientific Solutions Partner to drive net-new revenue growth across pharmaceutical biotech academic and research organizations. This role is ideal for a motivated quota-carrying sales professional who thrives in complex consultative sales environments and enjoys opening doors building pipelines and closing high-value professional services engagements.

This is a fully remote position (North America) with significant travel (up to 50%) to support client meetings conferences and business development activities.

The Role

As a Scientific Solutions Partner you will own the full sales lifecycle within your territory-from prospecting and opportunity development through solution design negotiation and close. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients translating scientific and technical challenges into tailored service-based solutions powered by Ranchos domain expertise.

**This is not an order-taking role. Success requires a hunter mindset comfort carrying a $MM quota and the ability to build pipeline in a consultative service-driven sales model.**

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify prospect and close new business opportunities within the life sciences sector
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive sustained revenue growth
  • Lead complex consultative sales cycles involving scientific technical and business stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to design and position customized service solutions
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships to maximize long-term value
  • Accurately track pipeline activity forecasts and performance in CRM systems
  • Represent Rancho BioSciences at client sites industry conferences and trade shows
  • Stay current on industry trends emerging technologies and evolving client needs

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently building and advancing a strong pipeline of net-new opportunities
  • Meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets tied to a $MM quota
  • Establishing trusted relationships with decision-makers in pharma biotech and research organizations
  • Successfully positioning Rancho as a strategic long-term partner-not just a vendor

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (BSc) or higher in a scientific or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience in pharmaceutical biotech or life sciences services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience selling professional services and managing complex multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated organized and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint Excel SharePoint)

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with bioinformatics data analytics or data-driven solutions
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical R&D clinical research or academic research environments
