Air New Zealand has two permanent opportunities for Inventory Specialists to join our Supply Chain Planning team supporting the management and control of aircraft material inventory across our Engineering and Maintenance operations.
In these roles youll be responsible for inventory reporting accuracy and governance. Youll analyse stock performance support surplus and obsolescence activity and help maintain high standards of data integrity across our systems working closely with teams across the business.
What youll be doing
Youll produce regular inventory reports covering stock levels ageing and inventory turns and analyse trends to support performance reporting for Planning and Finance. Youll also:
- Maintain and validate inventory data planning parameters and system transactions
- Support surplus and obsolete material sales including identification documentation and logistics coordination
- Process stock adjustments corrections transfers and scrapping in line with approved procedures
- Support cycle counting reconciliation and stock verification activities
- Work closely with Planning Engineering Warehousing Procurement and Finance to resolve inventory issues.
What youll bring
Youll have experience in inventory control supply chain or materials management along with strong analytical skills and confidence using tools such as Excel Power BI or similar.
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems is important as is a high level of attention to detail and a solid understanding of inventory governance and compliance.
Youll also be a clear communicator who enjoys working across teams.
Experience in aviation engineering or manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
