Job Summary

A national managed care organization is expanding its clinical coding quality and education programs and this seniorlevel role sits at the center of that mission. Youll lead inpatient coding audits develop training programs and partner with clinical teams to improve accuracy and compliance across a 28millionmember population.

This is a handson highimpact role for an RN who thrives in audit education and continuous improvement.

What Youll Do

  • Develop maintain and execute complex inpatient coding audit processes

  • Conduct inpatient coding audits and review medical necessity against guidelines

  • Design and deliver clinical coding education and training programs

  • Identify training gaps and recommend targeted education solutions

  • Partner with staff to resolve audit findings and improve coding accuracy

  • Present audit results trends and recommendations to leadership

  • Maintain training records and documentation

  • Support updates to policies procedures and workflows

  • Travel to New York twice per year for onsite meetings


Qualifications :

 What You Bring

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (or related clinical field with equivalent experience)

  • 4 years of experience in nursing training or auditing in a managed care setting

  • Inpatient coding audit experience

  • Current coding certification: CPC CIC or CCS

  • 1 year of inpatient clinical experience

  • Strong written communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience as a lead trainer or supervisor

  • Experience developing training materials or audit tools


Additional Information :

 Additional Details

  • Bonus eligible (8%)

  • No relocation or sponsorship available

  • Fully remote with limited travel (2x/year)
