Grabs Public Affairs team builds partnerships with the public sector to support national policy agendas engages constructively with governments and other stakeholders on public policy discussions and drives initiatives to harness the potential of technology to create impactful change.

Get to Know the Role

As a member of Public Affairs team you will build lasting relationship develop meaningful engagement and strengthen advocacy with key government stakeholders and community organizations. You will report to the Director National Public Affairs and provide strategic and implementation guidance and driving efforts on public policy topics.

This role is based onsite in our Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will build and nurture partnership programs with key stakeholders including government entities and community organizations.
• You will conduct in-depth analysis of relevant policies to identify opportunities risks and areas for strategic alignment for Grab in supporting nations building.
• You will draft and deliver communication materials and educational resources that articulate the business model and policy priorities focusing on areas such as urban mobility gig economy and digital technology transformation for stakeholders.
• You will design and streamline engagement strategies to ensure impactful and efficient collaboration with stakeholders.
• You will partner with internal teams to align strategies resolve challenges and strengthen and align the advocacy.

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 7 years of experience in public affairs government relations strategic project management or partnerships development
• A strong network with government entities NGOs academic institutions and other relevant stakeholders across Indonesia.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful public affairs strategies and campaigns
• Strong understanding of government relations policy development and regulatory environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across different stakeholders
• Experience managing budgets and resources for large-scale projects and initiatives
• Familiarity with industry trends best practices and emerging issues in public affairs and partnerships development
