Job Summary
Pay Rate: starting at $58.00 per hour depending on years of experience.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking afull-timeCertified Wound care RNto join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI)located in Westover Maryland.
The Certified Wound care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify assess and respond to a wide range of physical psychological and social needs of patients.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- Active RN license to practice in Maryland.
- Minimum of two years of recent (in the past five years) work experience as an RN preferred in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education Program.
- Certification as WOC nurse.
- Current tuberculosis documentation.
- Active BLS/CPR.
- Ability to pass a criminal background clearance and drug screen
- Minimum of one year of work experience as a RN preferred in a community outpatient clinic hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Corrections experience preferred.
