What Were Looking For
- At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from anABET accredited College or University
- Ideal Candidates will be within 6 months of obtaining a valid PE license
- Minimum of 4 years related Bridge Design experience
What Youll Do
- Review and check standard structural design calculations.
- Perform structural analysis and design of standard bridge components using analysis software.
- Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans.
- Provide information for design reports.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned including field inspections and construction serviceassignments.
- Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence.
- Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.
- Review and check drawings.
- Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS RISA-3D LEAP Bridge AutoCAD MicroStationetc.
- Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications including: AASHTO AREMA AISC ACI etc.
