Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Design Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX (Telework < 50%)
PAY RATE: $59.04/hour

Summary:

Serve as a key member of the Material Review Board (MRB).
Review non-conforming hardware for performance impacts.
Identify root cause and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate efforts across Mechanical Quality and Manufacturing teams.
Support and participate in weekly leadership status meetings.
Lead investigative efforts and report findings to interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance required to start
Bachelors degree from an accredited university (Engineering discipline preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
Ability to perform tolerance analysis.
Minimum 2 years of experience using Creo design software.
Minimum 2 years of experience in root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
Minimum 2 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings parts lists specifications and technical documents.
Proficiency in GD&T.
Failure analysis experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
CAD experience (1 2 years).
Ability to lead investigations and communicate status to cross-functional teams.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
