DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Responsible to assist wherever needed in the Bindery duties may require overtime in addition to the standard 40-hour work week.
RESPONSIBILITIES& ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in set up operation and maintenance of bindery equipment.
- Print read and understand Bindery Department policies procedures and job tickets.
- Apply verbal instructions from supervisors leads and machine operators and incorporate those to job tasks.
- Requires basic trouble shooting skills.
- Achieve department production rates.
- Perform routine quality checks and document results to ensure consistency.
- Work well in a team environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use basic math and measuring skills.
- Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Standing on a regular basis for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
- Frequent lifting (light to moderate weights) and bending.
- Communicate effectively with others insidethe organization.
- Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules.
