Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full-timeCertified Medical Assistant to join our team at Valdosta State Prisonlocated inValdosta Georgia.
Pay Range: $17-$22
TheMedical Assistantworks under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs implementing orders for diagnostic lab test and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs maintaining and cleaning medical equipment and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs as assigned.
Qualifications

- Current Georgia Medical Assistant license/certification
- Current CPR
- Phlebotomy Certification Required
- Corrections experience preferred not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Evening Shift 2pm-10:30pm 5 shifts per week
