Join BILLs Sync team and help shape the future of financial automation for small and midsize businesses. As a Software Engineer II youll collaborate with talented engineers to build enhance and maintain critical integrations that connect BILLs platform with external systems. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your technical skills solve meaningful problems and contribute to products that drive real customer value in a dynamic supportive environment. This role will specifically be working with our NetSuite integration which is considered critical functionality for the business.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain robust scalable software solutions for BILLs Sync integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues ensuring high reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Write clear maintainable code and documentation that supports long-term product evolution.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes code quality and team efficiency.
Support the deployment and monitoring of new features responding to feedback and production issues as needed.

Wed love to chat if you have:

Experience developing software in a collaborative team-based environment.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Java Python or C#).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex tasks into actionable steps.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices.
Nice to have: Experience building or maintaining sync integrations between SaaS products and financial/ERP systems preferably NetSuite including troubleshooting data mapping reconciliation and performance issues in those integrations.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper UT. Additionally this role is eligible to participate in BILLs bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan flexible spending & health savings account paid holidays paid time off and other company benefits.
