Description

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team in Houston TX. We are hiring for both a full-time and a PRN position.

Responsibilities:

Review the operating room schedule at the beginning of each day to plan and prepare to perform the scrub positions duties effectively and efficiently.
Competent in assisting routine Cardiac Cath and EP procedures/skills.
Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation and performs quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to patient data and hemodynamic responses during pre intra and post-Cath and EP procedures.
Assists with the patients admission transfer and discharge.
Demonstrates ability to perform different responsibilities within the department such as being a circulator monitor scrub and holding area personnel assistant.
Maintains professionalism and communicates effectively in high-stress situations.

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited program in surgical technology RCIS or ARRT certification or two years of full-time Cath Lab experience.
RCIS certification required at annual review.
At least two years of Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
