Job Summary

Job Title: CT Tech

Specialty: Radiology Computed Tomography (CT)

Site: Northern Navajo Medical Center

Location: Shiprock NM

Duration: 6-month contract with up to 2 years extension.

Shift Schedule: Facility operates 24/7 with rotating day evening and night shifts including weekends holidays on-call and overtime as required.

How many shifts needed per month: Approximately 20 22 shifts per month (based on 40 hours per week)

Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks

License:
Active Radiologic Technologist license Any U.S. state license accepted

Certifications:
ARRT (R) Radiography
ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography
BLS (Basic Life Support) American Heart Association

Experience needed:
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or acute care setting

Special Skills needed:
CT scan operation and image acquisition
Knowledge of CT protocols and radiation safety
Experience with contrast administration
Ability to work in emergency and trauma environments
Familiarity with PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)

Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians
Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain examination process
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Administer contrast media when required following safety protocols
Monitor patient condition during procedures
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions
Upload and document imaging results in PACS/RIS systems
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for accurate diagnosis
