We are seeking a Controller to support the financial integrity and compliance of our organization.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Controller is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting supporting audits and maintaining compliance across multiple funding sources and contracts. This role focuses on operational accounting oversight and fiscal accountability in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations including general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support month-end quarterly and annual close processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and funding requirements
- Support payroll oversight and related accounting processes
- Coordinate and support external audits and financial reviews
- Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial documentation
