A large food manufacturing company is seeking to add a VP Plant Controller to their team!
Job Description
Provide financial leadership and strategic oversight for plant operations partnering with executive leadership to drive profitability and operational performance.
Lead budgeting forecasting cost accounting and financial reporting processes for the manufacturing facility.
Analyze production costs labor overhead inventory and variances to identify improvement opportunities and protect margins.
Oversee internal controls compliance and audit processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence within a food manufacturing environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations Supply Chain and Quality teams to support capital investments continuous improvement initiatives and long-term growth strategies.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience including leadership within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
Strong expertise in cost accounting standard costing inventory management and plant-level financial analysis.
Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus but not required.
Proven leadership capability with strong analytical communication and strategic decision-making skills
Required Skills:
Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred). 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience including leadership within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred). Strong expertise in cost accounting standard costing inventory management and plant-level financial analysis. Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus but not required.
