This role will be full time: Wednesday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and every Saturday and Sunday 3:00pm -11:30 pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist (Xray and CT) Job Responsibilities:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist provides clinical services in multiple modalities according to Imaging practice standards with equal time spent in each modality based on OU needs while acting as a resource to Imaging Students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies/procedures while ensuring the safety of patients.
Communicates effectively with patients to obtain clinical history/informed consent to assist physicians in optimizing the performance and interpretation of examinations.
Performs and documents routine quality control testing of equipment as well as performs/recognizes the need for routine maintenance of imagers/processors to maintain consistent quality images as evidenced by the physician and exam results.
Assists in the development review and implementation of policies/procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography
Experience:
Minimum of one year of imaging experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
Must be able to perform in two or more modalities with at least even amount of time spent rotating in each annually based on needs. CT Cross Training.
