About the Role
At Digital Handswerededicated to fortifying cybersecurity for organizations for a detail-driven and highly organized Technical Writer to support our Managed Security Services this roleyoulldevelopmaintain and manage high-quality technical documentation that supports our Security Operations Center (SOC)teamand customers. This is a full-time position supporting our cybersecurity operations and client service delivery teams.

WhatYoullDo

Develop Technical Documentation:Create andmaintainstandard operating procedures (SOPs) runbooks playbooks knowledge base articles client-facing reports and internal process documentation related to cybersecurity operations.

Manage ServiceNow Knowledge Base (KB):Build update and organize knowledge articles within ServiceNow ensuring content accuracy proper categorization and adherence to governance standards.

Maintain Document Control:Implement and manage document lifecycle processes including version control reviews approvals and archival to ensure all materialsremainup to date and audit-ready.

Drive Continuous Improvement:Identifygaps in documentation standardize formatting and templates and enhance overall knowledge management practices.

Support Large-Scale Workflows:Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously whilemaintainingaccuracy consistency andtimelydelivery.

What You Bring

Education & Experience:Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field or 35 years of experience in a technical writing role within cybersecurity IT or a Managed Security Services environment.

Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts SOC operations incident response processes and IT infrastructure. Experience writing about tools such as SIEM platforms EDR solutions firewalls and cloud technologies is preferred.

ServiceNow Experience:Hands-on experience creating andmaintainingKnowledge Base (KB) articles in ServiceNow including workflow approvals and document governance.

Document Management Skills:Experience with version control document lifecycle management andmaintainingcentralized repositories (e.g. SharePoint or similar platforms).

Writing & Editing Excellence:Exceptional grammar formatting and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and complexity for different audiences.

Workload Management:Demonstratedability to handle a high-volume workload prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (Preferred): Technical writing certifications ITIL Foundation CompTIA Security or similar cybersecurity-related credentials are a plus.
