They play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.

In data engineering at PwC you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines data integration and data transformation solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabric Data Engineer Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with 46 years of experience in cloud data engineering particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. Youll play a key role in designing developing and optimizing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services while contributing to cutting-edge data architecture strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric Cloud Architecture
Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Synapse Synapse Spark Azure Data Factory or Synapse Pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in consulting or professional services environments
Apply best practices in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Git
Build and maintain robust data models aligned with Data Mesh Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures
Write efficient and optimized code using T-SQL PySpark Python Scala Power Query M or DAX
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and automate workflows with Power Automate Apps
Ensure data security and identity management with a basic understanding of Microsoft Entra

Required Skills & Qualifications

46 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and cloud architecture
Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based data services
Strong command of SQL (T-SQL) and PySpark for data transformation and analytics
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines version control and agile development practices
Experience with Power BI Power Automate and scripting languages like Python and Scala
Understanding of modern data architecture principles and frameworks
Exposure to Microsoft Entra or similar identity and access management tools
