Residential Construction Project Estimator
Level Team Contracting is a growing boutique construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in every project. With annual sales between $3-5 million and a team of passionate professionals we are known for our meticulous approach to building high-end residential properties. Our commitment to quality and strong systems allows us to exceed client expectations while maintaining a supportive team atmosphere.
The Project Estimator supports our projects from initial estimate through completion ensuring both budgets and expectations stay on track. This role blends estimating financial coordination and client communication perfect for someone who enjoys variety problem-solving and being involved in multiple stages of a project.
Candidates must be able to travel to the office in Atlanta and job sites in the greater Atlanta area as needed. Open to possible hybrid role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate cost estimates for residential projects including materials labor and subcontractors.
- Review plans with project managers architects and clients to ensure alignment with budgets and scope.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeper to create and maintain project invoice schedules.
- Monitor project costs verify expenses are categorized correctly and identify any budget variances.
- Attend client meetings to capture potential changes and communicate budget impacts.
- Support the preparation of change orders and project financial reports.
- Use CoConstruct and QuickBooks Online to manage estimates budgets and cost tracking.
- Help refine internal estimating and financial tracking processes as the company grows.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of hands-on experience in luxury remodeling custom homebuilding or project management is non-negotiable. Applicants must have a thorough understanding of homebuilding from the ground up including all phases of construction.
- Proven track record of developing accurate and detailed cost estimates.
- Experience overseeing projects and navigating job sites is essential.
- Understanding of construction systems building codes and industry best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in project management and estimating software; experience with CoConstruct is a plus.
- Attention to detail problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Google Suite for communication and documentation.
- A Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field is preferred.
