Job Summary

Client Advisory and Relationship Management:

Provide expert guidance to support and enhance the effectiveness of the sales teams.

Provide tailored investment advice to clients (individuals institutions and corporate clients) on equity fixed income and structured products that align with their financial goals and risk tolerance.

Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) institutional clients and corporate accounts ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Conduct client portfolio reviews to assess performance recommend adjustments and ensure alignment with client objectives and market conditions.

Educate clients and RMs on various asset classes including equities bonds and fixed income securities and the potential risks and returns associated with each. Market Research & Investment Strategy

Work closely with the Research team and conduct in-depth research on the Nigerian stock market government and corporate bonds and other fixed income instruments to identify investment opportunities.

Analyze macro-economic factors interest rates inflation trends and geopolitical developments that could impact the market and investment strategies.

Use technical and fundamental analysis to evaluate individual stocks sectors and bond issuances (e.g. corporate bonds treasury bills sukuk).

Develop investment strategies based on client profiles current market conditions and long term financial trends.

Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation

Assist clients in building and managing diversified portfolios of equities fixed income securities and other investment instruments to optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Provide ongoing monitoring and rebalancing of portfolios to ensure alignment with clients investment objectives and prevailing market conditions.

Advise clients on the strategic allocation between equities fixed income and money market instruments based on their risk profile and market outlook.

Develop customized solutions for clients in relation to their specific liquidity needs tax income generation and other preferences e.g. halal investing Sales Support and Product Promotion:

Serve as a subject matter expert (specialist)on the firms products and services. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide product knowledge generate leads and expand the firms client base in the equity and fixed income markets.

Support the sales team in pitching investment opportunities to new and existing clients demonstrating how the products meet their financial goals.

Assist in the development and promotion of new investment strategies and opportunities

Stay updated on changes in the regulatory environment new financial products and services to ensure the firms offerings remain competitive. Performance Monitoring and Tracking:

Track and report on portfolio performance benchmarking against relevant indices and market benchmarks (e.g. Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) indices Nigerian Government Bond Index).

Prepare annual performance reports for top clients providing insights into portfolio growth asset allocation changes and the outlook for the Nigerian market.

Ensure timely transaction execution in the equity and fixed income markets providing



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration finance social sciences mathematics or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in relationship management within capital markets.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in economics business administration finance social sciences mathematics or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales trading relationship management or investment advisory within the capital markets.
  • CIS or other professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of NGX and SEC policies
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital market instruments including equities and fixed income instruments.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS) CRM systems and trading platforms is an advantage
