A bit about your role

As a Customer Field Technician in Ipswich/Toowoomba youll work independently to complete a variety of tasks across different nbn technologies. Your work will include installations repairs maintenance and supporting customers in their homes or businesses.

Your day might involve installing copper or fibre cabling setting up customer equipment identifying and fixing faults and ensuring customers feel supported and informed throughout the process.

Working hours are between 7am and 7pm with flexibility based on business needs. Youll receive full training all required tools and ongoing support so you feel confident and set up for success.

Safety is a fundamental part of this rolewhether youre handling equipment working in customers premises or completing technical tasks youll be expected to consistently apply safe work practices and follow nbns safety procedures.

A bit about you

Previous experience in telecommunications isnt needed well teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is that you enjoy handson work like solving problems and feel comfortable speaking with customers.

You might come from a trade a handson technical job or a customerfocused role. Experience in fields like plumbing carpentry electrical work labouring construction mechanical work hospitality or manufacturing is highly valued.

Youll do well in this role if you enjoy working independently managing your workload and taking pride in delivering quality work. A strong commitment to safety clear communication skills and a current clean Drivers Licence are essential.
