The IT Specialty Analyst Epic Case Management supports optimizes and enhances Epic applications that enable inpatient case management care coordination discharge planning and utilization management workflows.
This role partners closely with clinical operational and IT teams to ensure Epic solutions effectively support patient care population health initiatives and regulatory requirements. The analyst will analyze workflows configure and maintain system builds test upgrades and provide ongoing support to ensure high-quality efficient care delivery across the continuum.
This position is ideal for someone with strong Epic Case Management expertise and related Epic certifications who enjoys improving clinical workflows solving complex problems and partnering with inpatient case management teams.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Healthcare Nursing or a related field (Preferred)
Experience in lieu of bachelors degree 3 years of relevant experience with a degree
5 years of relevant experience without a degree
Epic Case Management Certification or Accreditationor Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc)
Healthy Planet Certification or Accreditation with relevant experiencewill be considered
Experience supporting and optimizing Epic Case Management Clin Doc or Healthy Planet applications
Experience working with inpatient case managers care coordinators and utilization management teams
Experience supporting clinical workflows including care coordination discharge planning and patient transitions
Experience performing workflow analysis system build testing and optimization within Epic
Experience supporting incident change and release management for clinical applications
We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$80204.80-$133681.60. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
