Spartans Sports Camp is dedicated to providing an encouraging and positive environment that aids the development of its campers as both children and the course of this goal we intend to promote an active healthy lifestyle for campers and to provide leadership opportunities for high school and college students. Spartans Sports camp is a 501(c)(3) organization raising funds for Mtn. View HS Athletics. Since 2012 the camp has raised over $630000.

The Site Director is responsible for the overall supervision and execution of multiple summer camps running concurrently on the Mtn. View HS campus. They will work closely with the Camp Director Camp Coaches Multi-Sport Director to ensure a positive experience for every camper. This position is a leadership position that requires a time commitment year-round.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Lead with an enthusiastic and engaging attitude to maintain the Spartans Sports Camp culture

-Responsible for the overall safety and operations of multiple summer camps running concurrently

-Communicate as needed with camper parents during camp hours.

-Assess equipment and facility needs

-Recruit and hire counselors and assistant directors.

-Develop and lead counselor training sessions.

-Manage camp food service operations (ordering lunch etc.)

-Manage swimming pool and lifeguards

-Off-Season Duties: Assist in program development planning and marketing in the off-season. 5-10 hours per week.

-In-Season Duties: 7-8 week Summer Program June 8 - July 31st 40-50 hours per week.

If available April 6-10 Spring Break Camp.

Compensation: $36/hour. Non-exempt position eligible for overtime.

Requirements

-18 yrs of age or older

-Pass background check if age 18 or older.

-Provide references upon request.

-Experience in coaching daycare camp or education..

-Able to commute to Mtn View CA. Local candidates only please.
