Durango School District 9-R is hiring a Wrestling Specialistat Miller Middle School. This coaching position involves instructing middle school students (grades 7 and 8) in the fundamental skills strategies and physical training of football. Begins January 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of effective coaching practices/techniques of wrestling
- Ability to build rapport with middle school students
- Ability to build individual and team character and confidence
- Ability to relate to students of varying athletic abilities
- Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times
- Ability to work positively with coaches staff and administration
- Ability to communicate effectively with student athletes and parents
