Job Summary

About the role

The Project Manager oversees cross-functional projects within the logistics and distribution network driving efficiency compliance and performance improvements. This role leads project planning execution and delivery while coordinating with internal teams vendors and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in operations management supply chain logistics and process improvement methodologies

What youll do

  • Lead end-to-end project management for operational initiatives across warehouse transportation and fulfillment functions.
  • Coordinate with supply chain IT procurement and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement data-driven process improvement strategies.
  • Track KPIs analyze performance metrics and deliver regular project updates to executive leadership.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time within scope and within budget.
  • Manage vendor and 3PL relationships for project-related activities.
  • Oversee implementation of new technologies systems and automation processes in distribution centers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory requirements across all initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to project rollouts.
  • Support change management efforts and stakeholder communication throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of project management experience in logistics distribution or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Asana).
  • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of WMS TMS and ERP systems.
  • PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-volume distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation transportation planning or e-commerce fulfillment is a plus.
