Aspiring Educational Psychologist
Location: Brent NW10
Pay: 90 to 100 per day (PAYE)
Start date: ASAP

Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to gain meaningful hands-on experience in a school setting before pursuing further training or postgraduate study

A supportive primary school in Brent NW10 is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to work as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with additional learning needs across the classroom and in targeted interventions.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist The Role

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require additional academic or emotional support
  • Support children with SEND SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Build strong professional relationships with pupils to support progress and engagement
  • Gain first-hand experience working alongside SENCOs teachers and external professionals

Aspiring Educational Psychologist Ideal Candidate

  • A graduate with a Psychology or related degree
  • Clear ambition to progress into Educational Psychology SEN or Child Psychology
  • Patient resilient and confident working with children who need additional support
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Able to commit for the full academic year
