Meeting Street is currently seeking a Director of Early Childhood Programs to direct the overall operation of all early childhood programs and services (prenatal to age 6 and parents) in Rhode Island and Massachusetts in their entirety and ensures that the programs function as top tier nationally recognized programs in accordance with Board policy organizational mission values and goals and applicable governmental policies and regulations.
This position will report directly to the President of Meeting Street and directly oversee three Assistant Directors as well as be a key member of organizations Leadership Team contributing to the operations and strategy for the future.

Essential Duties:
- Executive leadership of all early childhood programming includes reporting and monitoring of existing program performance in accordance with agency values operating goals and all applicable federal state and agency policies procedures and regulations.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for programmatic growth and thought leadership within the national early childhood arena.
- Develop and manage annual budgets revenue projections and growth plans related to early childhood programs.
- Lead the interviewing hiring orienting and supervising of all members of the early childhood senior management team.
- Establish training program for all early childhood personnel ensuring staff is fluent in program eligibility and services available through all Meeting Street programs.
- Design and deliver monthly an outcomes measurement report to the President to track and measure the success of all early childhood services; creating corrective action plans as needed.
- Participate in statewide committees and build relationships with program regulators. As well as build relationships with colleges and universities to provide internship and school-to-career opportunities to students.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a professional discipline required; masters degree preferred.
- Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts licensure and/or certification as an educator developmental therapist or registered nurse preferred.
- Ten years managerial experience in an early childhood educational or comparable professional setting; leadership experience preferred.
