MODERNIZATION & NI SALES EXECUTIVE - OHIO
JOB SUMMARY
Bid and secure new maintenance modernization and new installation sales contracts while developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers so that both service and modernization projects are completed profitably and the branch meets annual revenue goals. This position exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This position is for both the Cincinnati and Columbus branches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Work in coordination with building managers and/or owners and other related contacts in the pre-bidding of modernization jobs including building strong customer relationships and maintaining market awareness of projects and competitors.
- Create quoting and bidding packages by obtaining blueprints of proposed modernization including reviewing specs and labor with operations for completeness and accuracy and ensuring that jobs will be profitable for the branch.
- Present bids to customers and explain cost factors emphasizing characteristics such as construction performance durability and appearance of equipment.
- Conduct customer follow-up on all proposals.
- Coordinate submittal packages through the approval process and create change orders as requested.
- Visit project sites when necessary and work with the operations department to ensure customer needs and deadlines are being met.
- Identify and communicate impact of sales plan on financial statement.
- Handle substantial maintenance and modernization RFP bids.
- Actively bid on all new service and modernization business.
- Conduct portfolio analysis to identify and connect with the decision marker of an organization learn when buildings come off service/bids will be released and determine real opportunities.
- Interact with operations manager to survey potential jobs effectively and efficiently put together estimates and proposals.
- Lead Fujitec and sales presentations at customer/consultant meetings and lunch-and-learns.
- Identify pursue and secure new elevator and escalator service opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers building owners architects general contractors developers and consultants.
- Conduct project evaluations site assessments and technical reviews to determine accurate scoping and appropriate product recommendations.
- Prepare professional MOD & NI proposals quotations and bid packages coordinating with engineering estimating and operations to ensure technical accuracy and profitability.
- Monitor construction activity market trends and competitive activity to identify upcoming projects.
- Manage the complete NI sales cycle including lead generation negotiation contract execution and successful turnover to operations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts CRM updates and sales reports as required.
- Represent Fujitec at industry events networking events pre-bid meetings and other sales-related functions to expand brand presence and generate new opportunities.

- Education: Bachelors in related
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in related
- Requires a valid drivers license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
- Local Travel Expectations: 60%

- Job duties are performed mainly within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
