The Lead Integration Solution Architect role is responsible for the development of target state architecture and the delivery of seamless integration of various systems for specific business or technology domains within UNSW. The role will lead the development of strategies solutions patterns and standards to guide the delivery of solutions with these domains. The prime focus will be the ERP and ESM domains of Oracle and ServiceNow.
The role is part of the Integration team within the Corporate Services division and is responsible for the delivery of the integration capabilities in support of a highly strategic program for the University. The position will report to the Head of Integration and has no direct reports.
Specific accountabilities for this role include
Who you are:
Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline together with 7 years experience in software development using Cloud architectures and middleware components.
Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions using Azure integration services (API Management Gateway Event Grid Logic Apps Service Bus Function Apps) as well as Azure data platform (Data Factory SQL Synapse Data Lake Databricks PowerBI)
Extensive experience across the Oracle and Service Now integration ecosystems enterprise level of solution design and delivery.
API development using REST/JSON SOAP/XML Web service with a strong understanding of security and privacy controls for applications and APIs
Experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD tools.
Experience defining and managing an integration design practice including integration patterns register and system integration landscape diagrams
Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance practices and methodologies as applied to integrated solutions.
Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
An understanding of and commitment to UNSWs aims objectives and values in action together with relevant policies and guidelines.
Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
