Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manageris responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with complex compounders to drive the sales and expansion of Formerras products and services. This role requires a proactive approach to building and maintaining multi-functional and executive partnerships that enhance customer loyalty increase revenue and maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess strongCustomer-Centric Sellingexpertise exceptional problem-solving skills and a dynamic professional presence.

This role is fully remote based in the Toronto area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Driveprofitable revenue growththrough strategic business development.
  • Meet or exceedgross margin targetsas a percentage of sales.
  • UtilizeCustomer-Centric Sellingmethodologies to enhance effectiveness.
  • Identify track and secure new business opportunitiesaligned with growth goals.
  • Develop and executeaccount management plansto strengthen customer relationships.
  • Act as atrusted advisor offering tailored solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Supportstrategic planning including forecasting and goal-setting.
  • Expandexisting accountswhile proactively pursuing new business.
  • Define and executeselling strategies securing orders and optimizing engagement.
  • Provideregular progress updatesto the Sales Manager.
  • Implementmarketing campaignsand contribute to product strategy.
  • Collaborate withTechnical and Customer Service teamsto ensure satisfaction.
  • Deliver resultsthrough effective execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Performadditional responsibilitiesas needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degreerequired in Plastics or Polymer Engineering Business Chemistry or related discipline.
  • 10 years of sales experiencein distribution manufacturing account management or related industries.
  • Ability toanalyze customer needsand develop strategic solutions.
  • Strongtechnical aptitudewith a broad understanding of materials solutions and processing.
  • Professional presencewith excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
  • Highlyself-motivated organized and capable of workingautonomouslywith minimal oversight.
  • Proven ability to collaborate as ateam playerwhile driving individual success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel;SAP & Salesforceexperience highly preferred.
  • Competitive mindset with a strongwork ethic autonomy and drive for excellence.

Physical Requirements & Work Setting:

  • Requires remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time and frequent communication.
  • Must be able to traverse and operate computer and other office equipment.
  • Typical work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
  • Travel up to 50% may be required including overnights.
