Job Summary

Position Overview:

The Technical Business Analyst will be an integral part of our USA-based team responsible for a wide range of system engineering duties including system design engineering support and deployment of IP-based Passenger Information Systems and Rolling Stock/Bus CCTV Systems.

What Youll Be Doing:

Serve as the initial point of contact for project engineering requirements.
Lead technical meetings with customers and internal project teams.
Translate functional project requirements into technical system requirements.
Identify hardware/software development needs and assess technical risks.
Support system configuration and testing during all project phases (FAI FAT SAT integration tests etc.).
Assist with on-site system deployments and provide post-installation support.
Prepare and lead technical documentation and customer training sessions.
Provide continuous feedback to improve products and solutions.
Ensure adherence to quality management processes.
Proactively identify and resolve technical gaps between stakeholder deliverables.

What Youll Need to Have:

3 to 5 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst Systems Engineer Project Engineer or similar role.
MUST Have: proven experience delivering technical projects to clients in the Automotive Aeronautics or Large Industrial industry
Basic knowledge of electronic hardware concepts.
Strong skills in data network setup and configuration including firewalls switches VLANs VPNs and wireless networks.
Familiarity with audiovisual systems and related streaming/control protocols such as VoIP SIP RTSP MQTT TRDP and video compression like H.264.
Experience with HMI systems and Linux operating systems is a plus.
Prior experience delivering public transit/rail projects is a strong advantage.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively adhering to strict schedules.
Capable of working across multiple time zones and with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Travel required within North America including overnight and occasional weekend travel; international travel may also be required.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and technologies.

Salary Range: $70000 to $90000
