Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician youll be the go-to expert at customer sites ensuring that hydraulic fracturing and power generation equipment operates at peak performance. From diagnosing issues across electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to performing preventive maintenance and installing critical components youll play a key role in keeping our customers powered and productive. This position is ideal for someone who values technical precision safety and customer relationships.
This position will be based out of Midland TX.
Responsibilities:
Service and maintain hydraulic fracturing and power generation equipment at customer sites
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic system issues
Perform preventative maintenance and install/replace repair parts
Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
Communicate technical issues clearly to customers and team members
Prepare accurate and timely service reports
Uphold safety standards and ensure full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols and technical requirements at all times
Foster strong customer relationships
Wear and maintain proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times ensuring compliance with company safety standards
Collaborate with team members and provide technical guidance when needed
Stay current with mechanical advancements and OEM updates
Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a technical field (automotive electrical etc.) desired
Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in a field service role with natural gas engines power generation or similar rotating equipment
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering high-quality service
Valid drivers license
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of natural gas engines power generation equipment and rotating machinery
Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagrams
Skilled in the use of hand tools diagnostic instruments and calibration equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical explanations and reporting
Strong problem solving organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced field-based environment
Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols and standards
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
Ability to stand sit walk use hands and fingers reach stoop kneel crouch crawl talk hear climb balance and maintain clear vision
Ability to frequently push and pull and regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
