The Floating Ultrasound and Echocardiograms Technician performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. The Floating Ultrasound and Echocardiograms Technician performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.

Work location: CenterWell Leesburg The Villages West Orange Apopka and Clermont

Floating Ultrasound Technician Job Functions:

Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains stores and orders equipment and supplies. Decisions are typically focus on methods tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures processes and techniques and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent and as individual states require accreditation through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Certification as an Ultra-Sound Technician with 1 years experience in a diagnostic facility or hospital as an Ultrasound Technician
  • RDMS Certification required
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
  • Experience with MS Outlook
  • Basic Computer knowledge
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Floating Radiologic Technician Working hours:

Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM

Scheduled 40 hours per week

Note: Mileage is reimbursed for travel between clinics.

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humanas Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.


$70700 - $96400 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
