Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking a Legal Assistant in its Detroit office. Qualified candidates must have legal assistant experience preferably in a law firm setting.
Responsibilities include supporting attorneys and various practice groups creating exhibits preparing pleadings and motions document review and summary organizing and filing electronic documents with the Courts docket/calendar and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with preparing and filing legal documents with Michigan State Courts is a must.
- Knowledge of court rules calendaring docketing e-filing and procedures.
- Efficient at multi-tasking in a fast-paced team-structured environment.
- Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of iManage/Filesite iTimekeep and Chrome River is a plus.
