Job Summary
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team as Alcoa Caregivers in Knoxville this role you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take their medications as prescribed
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Communicate regularly with clients families and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- Compassionate patient and reliable skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work
