Job Description
Sherpa 6 Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator supporting the U.S. Army Nett Warrior program. This role works closely with the PdM Ground Soldier Systems (PdM GSS) program office and is overall responsible for supporting the Assistant Product Manager of the Nett Warrior Future Initiatives line of effort at PdM GSS.
Responsibilities
- Manage and attend meetings with vendors and third-party program offices
- Compile meeting notes and distribute content to internal and external stakeholders
- Support program office fielding synchronization and system integration
- Provide acquisition and lifecycle management support
- Serve as a Tactical Network Mobile Systems and Systems Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Remain current on military government and commercial C5ISR technologies supporting Nett Warrior and SOF missions
- Integrate new equipment with existing systems for demonstrations testing and fielding
- Support development of equipment specifications and interface standards between vendors and government offices
- Conduct new equipment trainingand provide operational context for system capabilities
- Train integrate and support ATAK WinTAK TAK Server and CIVTAK environments
- Configure and troubleshoot wideband and narrowband tactical radios
- Deploy configure and maintain Linux Windows Android and iOS systems
- Provide Tier II/III support for help desk tickets troubleshooting complex system issues
- Capture bug reports identify discrepancies and assist with improvement documentation
- Build configure and maintain server infrastructure including VPN email directory and authentication services
- Manage Certificate Authorities PKI trust chains and x509 certificates
- Apply STIGs and security hardening across multiple operating systems
- Conduct system demonstrations and administer demo/trial environments
- Support containerized and virtualized environments (Docker Hyper-V VirtualBox)
- Travel in support of customer training integration and installation events
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Information Technology or a related field or equivalent applicable experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration network operations or technical support roles
- Strong experience with network architectures hardware configurations and system design
- Experience administering Linux and server-based systems
- Familiarity with TAK and Mission Command systems and Army/SOF fielding environments
- Knowledge of network encryption VPNs DNS firewalls ports and protocols
- Experience with Active Directory Open LDAP PKI certificate authorities and identity management
- Proficiency with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems including Azure environments
- Ability to deploy troubleshoot and analyze logs across complex systems
- Strong problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and technical documentation
- Familiarity with Government RDT&E acquisition and procurement processes
- Military experience or knowledge of standard tactics techniques and procedures preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience
- Tactical communications and radio experience (PRC-148C PRC-163C MPU-5 PRC-169 117G/152A etc.)
- Ability to configure routers switches and bridge disparate networks
- Experience with Docker Ansible and containerized services
- Experience with Postgres database management and CLI-based queries
- Knowledge of tactical and commercial satellite systems
- Knowledge of commercial and tactical cellular technologies
- Experience with certificate lifecycle management
- Familiarity with audio/video and networking industry standards
- Flexible adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic operational environments
