About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Lead and coach middle school students in the color guard section of the summer marching band.

Start Date:June 8-14 2026
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule:Practice will take place Monday-Friday June 8-12th from 9:30am-12:00pm followed by a performance on Sunday June 14th during the Albertville Friendly City Days Parade. Exact schedule varies based on prep time needed and parade schedule.

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $20.00-$27.00 per hour depending upon your experience with Community Ed

No benefit eligibility other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience instructing or coaching color guard or marching band students. Knowledge of color guard techniques choreography and equipment. Ability to teach all skill levels and lead rehearsals. Strong communication and leadership skills
